My mom thinks I’m a good photographer.
Hi! I’m Janna. I’m a part-time photographer in Brandon, Manitoba who specializes in portrait and couples photography. I’ve been on this planet since ’85 and taking fancy photos since ’09. I spent a few years working with Hawthorn Images, and do a lot of work with The Vintage Costume Company now. I am always looking for fun, unique, and challenging ways to put my skills to use, so if you have a crazy idea you’d like to bring to life, send me a message! Or maybe you just want pictures of you and your cat. That’s cool too. #crazycatladyforlife
You know when you get that feeling and you just ‘click’ with someone? Janna is truly that girl for everyone. She not only makes you feel comfortable infront of the camera, but she makes you really feel like this is your moment to shine. Everything you are doing at the time, in that place, is about you, and she truly makes you feel that way. Her unique ideas, her love for laughter and her unbelievable talent is worth every single penny. I have had the pleasure of working with Janna on four totally different shoots now, and I have loved each experience in it’s own way. Every time was different and every time was truly amazing. She captures who you are, even the person that hides, shying away from the lens. I can’t say enough wonderful words about her, and look forward to seeing what her her imaginative future brings!
Janna is an absolute gem to work with. Countless times I have had the pleasure of working with her, from fun girls nights, to our engagement photos, to our wedding day. Janna has been there to capture countless smiles and precious moments within my life and relationship. Her absolute passion for photography is seen through the lens in the beautiful photos that she takes. You could not find a better, fun loving, energetic photographer to help capture all the important experiences within your life!
Not gonna lie… I like money. So feel free to hire me for one of these things:
What is it, 1995? Why are we still offering “Wedding Packages”? Enough of that crap. Your wedding is modern, edgy, hip, eclectic, rustic, alt, turnt, whatever. So why would you want a traditional wedding package for a non-traditional wedding?
That’s why I offer just the best. I’m not here to waste your time, overwhelm you, or rob you of your hard-earned money. I just want to capture your wedding day in such a way that when you look at those incredible photos, you get the warm fuzzies and say to each other, “That Janna… she really captured our deep and unconditional love.”
I mean, let’s be logical; you and your friends are more than capable of taking selfies while you’re getting ready. And those smart phones do a great job of capturing wild and crazy reception photos (plus you get your own custom hashtag #OMGYAY!) But what about the rest of the day? What about the moment the ceremony starts, you see the love of your life, and all your friends and family are looking at you instead of their smart phones? What then? What about those amazing portraits and fancy camera tricks that only a pro can pull off? Who’s gonna take those?
Well that’s where I come in 🙂
I offer my services at two-, three-, or four-hour price-points. All of my clients will get two consultations, two photographers for maximum coverage, a USB of their edited full-resolution images, a photo book or canvas print, and a complimentary engagement session for those who want to get to know me a little better, which of course, you do. Obviously I’m awesome.
Are you planning your wedding in months instead of years? Are you regretting asking Aunt Mildred shoot your wedding for free? Did your photog fall off the face of the planet? Occasionally I have openings mid-season, and am always happy to help a couple in need of a last-minute booking. Message me right meow to see if we can work some magic!
I am surprisingly good with individuals and couples. Like, you might fall a little bit more in love with yourself after I’m done with you. Regular sessions, including portraits, boudoir, sweethearts, and engagements, start at $150.
So here’s a pretty little contact form, or you can e-mail me at email@example.com, or stalk me on Facebook. Not my personal page though. That’s creepy. Go to my business page.
